With over 25 years of experience supporting young people and adults, our approach combines counselling, neuroscience, and performance strategies. We focus not only on how you feel, but how you function, helping you create real, lasting change in both wellbeing and performance.
We commonly support with anxiety, stress, low mood, overwhelm, avoidance, confidence issues, exam pressure, burnout, and feeling stuck. We also work with trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, and addictive or unhelpful coping patterns. Alongside this, we help build motivation, resilience, self-esteem, and healthier thinking patterns so you can feel more in control and move forward with clarity and confidence.
This varies depending on your goals and situation. Some clients benefit from a small number of sessions, while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll always work collaboratively and review progress with you. Our aim is to provide the most effective support focusing on evidence-based, best practice approaches that create meaningful and lasting change, both efficiently and sustainably.
Counselling focuses on understanding and working through thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe, supportive space. Performance coaching builds on this by adding practical strategies to improve focus, motivation, habits, and outcomes. Many clients benefit from a blend of both.
Many clients notice a positive shift even after the first session. Our approach is designed to create immediate relief while also building long-term change, so you’re not just talking you’re making progress.
The first session is an opportunity to understand what’s going on for you (or your child), what you would like to change, and how we can help. You’ll leave with clarity, and often some immediate tools to start feeling better straight away.
This depends on the age of the young person and what feels most helpful. We often begin with a joint discussion and then provide space for the young person to talk independently, while keeping parents appropriately informed. Throughout the process, we ensure that all safeguarding procedures are carefully followed, so your child is supported in a safe, professional, and ethically sound environment.
The first step is simple. Book a free, friendly consultation where we can talk through your situation and how we can help. From there, we’ll guide you clearly on the best next steps so you feel confident and supported from the very beginning.
